Hepburn Learns Plenty From First Meeting
HEPBURN LEARNS PLENTY FROM FIRST OUTING
Timaru driver John Hepburn made an impressive, but ultimately frustrating start to the BNT V8s Championship at the Taupo Motorsport Park this weekend.
Hepburn qualified in twenty-third place with an engine that was disappointingly down on power on Saturday morning. Later that day however he drove to an impressive fifteenth place in the opening race of the championship.

Hepburn ready for Challenge
HEPBURN READY FOR CHALLENGE
Timaru driver John Hepburn say's he is ready for the "challenge from hell" as he prepares for the opening round of the BNT V8s Championship at Taupo Motorsport Park this weekend. Hepburn heads to his first V8 outing with his own team at a circuit he has never raced at before. However while he faces a steep learning curve this weekend he is positive about the challenge ahead saying, "the day you stop learning is the day they put you in the ground!"

Hepburn buys Henderson V8 Franchise
John Hepburn will move into big league car racing this summer after buying the ex-Darryn Henderson Holden Commodore along with Hendersons NZ V8s Tier 1 franchise.
Hepburn dabbled in Tier 1 racing at the end of last season with the Bartercard Racing Commodore, but after testing his newly acquired ex-Henderson car he said theres clearly a difference in power but needs some sorting in the handling, but is confident it will be sorted.
